TabTin is a free community-driven platform dedicated to combating phone theft. We provide a simple, accessible database where stolen phones can be reported and verified by anyone — buyers, sellers, repair technicians, and law enforcement.
For Victims: Report your stolen phone with its IMEI number. Your device is flagged instantly. If someone finds it and searches the IMEI, they can contact you securely through TabTin without ever seeing your personal details.
For Buyers & Engineers: Before purchasing or repairing a phone, search the IMEI on TabTin. If stolen, you can alert the owner with one click.
IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique 15-digit number for every mobile phone. Find yours by dialing *#06# or in Settings → About Phone.
Effective Date: January 2026
When reporting: IMEI, phone details, your email and optionally phone number. When searching: only the IMEI query (not stored). When contacting an owner: your name, email, and message.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information. Reporter contact details are never shown to searchers. IMEI numbers are partially masked in results. When a finder contacts an owner, the finder's details are shared with the owner via email so they can coordinate — but the owner's info remains hidden from the finder.
Data is stored securely using Google's infrastructure with appropriate protections against unauthorized access.
Reports remain until removal is requested. Contact messages are retained for support purposes.
Request access, correction, or deletion of your data via Contact Us with your Report ID.
TabTin does not use cookies or tracking technologies.
